Masthead Design

This was my final masthead design. I chose a darker brown, to associate the color with horses, and earth. The name of the font is g Gerak font, on the website fontspace. Since my magazine is about animals, specifically horses, I wanted to create a earthy feeling, instead of a bolder black color. The font choice was a more casual, playful font. I chose it to create a sense of casualness, and to make it feel less elegant, something that a fashion magazine would have.
