Final Cover

This is my final magazine cover:

I made the cover with adobe photoshop. I first layed down the background photo, added the gradient white and black to the top, and bottom right hand corner. i then pasted the text, barcode, and dateline. I added the articles ar the end, and touched up anything needed to be touched up.

I took the photo by bringing Summer (the horse), to graze, and then I sat for about 15 minutes waiting for her to get in the right angle. I sat on the ground, and eventually layed down compeltely to get a very low angle. I took about 10 shots like this, and this one was the best one.

My goals were met, I am quite proud of this photo, and how the cover turned out. One thing i should of thought about however was how the text would be hard to read. But i added two texts layered on each other to help fix that problem.
