Today in class, we talked to our classmates, and got feedback on our TOC, Cover, and DPS. I got some good feedback, mainly on the cover, since it needed the most editing.
These were some of the notes I wrote down, based on what each student told me, however that is not all the feedback I got.
The main points:
Pros:
Good lighting and cover photo choice
Table of Contents design was creative
Double page spread had a nice background color
Informative double page spread
Cons:
Color choice for the text on cover is very hard to see
Add page numbers to the bottom of TOC and DPS
Change font for the "View Featured Articles" on cover
Make text readable
I will add these points, especially the cons into my magazine, to make it better. I learned a lot from seeing what other people think, especially since to me it looked fine. So I got that extra insight from other people, to see what I couldn't.
