1st Genre Photoshoot

Originally, my plans and goals were to get photos that had personality, and uniqueness. Additionally, I wanted to get some variety and a big group of different animals. Because while showcasing one animal is nice, having multiple show what is unique about each. So I went to the barn I work at to take photos of different animals. The horse featured is named Summer, and she has very pretty features so I used her for all the horse ones. I took some of her eating grass, and a couple of her twisting her head. Because it shows off her personality and uniqueness. The cat in the photo is named Kitkat, and he is the cat at my barn. Lastly, the dog is my own dog and she is very patient. She was the easiest to take photos of because she is the smallest, and moved the least.

My biggest struggle was probably getting the right shot. With other categories like food, and fashion, you can move the person or food in the exact spot you want. Because they won't move or defy you. While an animal is hard to communicate with, so you have to let them do their own thing and capture the shot at the right time. So it took more patience than any other category would take.

I had many successes, with these 5 photos especially, the lighting was good, and the angle and positions were good to. These were the final photos after the many I took first try. So these showcase how patience pays off.

The class feedback I received was too get different angles, and just keep doing what I was doing. Because all my photos were diverese and unique. The only thing I need to work on is just the lighting. Because the ones in my house were dim and dark. So you couldn't see my dogs face that well.
