Double Page Spread Research

aroyzis2007

Today we researched double page spreads in different magazines, to get inspiration for what ours should look like.

Number of images: 2

Number of total pages for article: 4

Description of each image: Elephants understand basic math and can keep track of relative sums. The other image is of the dolphin, bottlenose dolphins have procedural memories that last for years.

Headline: What animals recall

Section Title: An elephant never forgets, and Animals and memory

Pull Quotes: None

Article Font Format: Sariff

Stylistic Features: The first two pages have a photo that spreads across both, whereas the third and fourth have a small image in the top left.

Number of Columns Per Page: on the first page there is 1 column, on the third and fourth page there is 4 columns.

House style: The cover, table of contents, and double page spreads all follow a very casual theme. They use a bold text for most of the main points, and it uses a blue theme throughout the article.

Content: The content of the article relates to memory, so I picked the memory that relates to animals since I am focusing on animals for my magazine.
